Happy Friday, it is rain at last. I know there is no need to be excited about the rain, but the trees are loving it!

Came across this Ted talk awhile ago, and with the start of another school year it gives a very interesting perspective on the school system and maybe this is a  good alternative to consider.

This incredible weather is holding, and it is hard to get into the fall fashions, but have you gone through your closet and made the three piles, "keep, donate, consign", we are booking for appointments and fall consignment is selling quickly!

Casual shoes

This has been a summer of shoe consignment, all of June, July and August the racks were full with lots of different styles. Now for the fall items it is time for the heavier, closed toe, boots to arrive.

Sweaters

Sitting on the deck with the sunshine and birds chirping away, ah the sounds of late summer. However it occurred to me yesterday as I drove to Red Deer early in the morning that it is officially showing signs of fall. The fields have been harvested and are golden brown, some of the popular trees turning yellow and hearing the geese in the early evenings getting ready to fly south. Also the stores are full of fall and winter clothes. Who decided to put out winter wear in August!

So we too are accepting fall consignment by appointments. Bring in your sweaters, hoodies, scarves, boots, pants, cardigans.
