The last Friday of August, bringing with it the September long weekend. There will be many people heading out for one final camping trip before getting the kids ready for another school year, others heading to the stores for back to school supplies, families signing up for skating, hockey, dance, karate, gymnastics and so many other activities. In one word "schedules".
For me this last weekend of summer brings some melancholy, as my role of "back to school mom" is at its last year, my son graduates this year. Very exciting for him and me.
Enjoy this long weekend and spread a little kindness to those you meet, it will make you smile and put some happy feelings in others!
